What's up dog?
Over the last 12 months, Wally has continued to brighten the lives of everyone around him both in person and online with his signature smile, resilient spirit, and joyful zoomies in his wheels. Its now been almost two years since his spinal injury and surgery, and while recovery is still ongoing (with regular hydrotherapy and acupuncture), this past year has been a turning point not just in accepting that this is our life now, but in embracing it fully. Wallys confidence has grown, and so has his impact. Whether hes rolling proudly down the street and educating curious kids about disabled pets, or strutting his stuff in the Dog Lovers Show fashion parade to show that wheelchair dogs can be stylish too he brings light, love, and learning everywhere he goes. Through both our social media accounts, Wally has become a little beacon of hope for others navigating chronic illness, disability, or just a ruff patch. His smile reminds people that happiness is still possible even if life looks a little different than expected. And honestly? Watching him thrive this past year has reminded me of that too.
