What's up dog?
As a mum of two, life is full and often overwhelming. In the midst of motherhood the love, the chaos, and the isolation Phoenix has been a steady, grounding presence. While my children are my heart, Phoenix has been the one to gently nudge me back into the world, reminding me to care for myself, reconnect with others, and find joy beyond the daily routine. Through him, I entered the world of dog sports something I never imagined myself doing. It opened up a whole new community of passionate, supportive people and gave Phoenix and me an even stronger bond. Training, competing, and growing together deepened our connection in ways I never expected. Phoenix became not only my teammate, but my muse. His joy and presence inspired me to start my own business, Crimson Phoenix Photography, named in his honour. What began as fun photo walks turned into a creative career that brings me so much fulfilment. Phoenix represents resilience, connection, and the incredible impact one dog can have. He helped me rediscover myself, find my people, and turn struggle into purpose. I truly cant imagine a more deserving soul to be recognised as an Oztopdog.
