Odin has been nothing short of a miracle for our family. When my dad was diagnosed with early-stage Alzheimers, the biggest struggle wasnt memory loss it was the depression. He became quiet and withdrawn, losing interest in the things that once brought him joy. It was as if he was slowly fading away. Then along came Odin. From the very first day, Odins energy filled the house. Hes a character, full of cheek and charm a true rascal. Theres never a dull moment with him around, and thats exactly what Dad needed. Odin didnt tiptoe around the sadness he barged straight through it with a wagging tail and a stubborn love for mischief. Before long, Dad was laughing and talking again and even getting down on the floor to play with Odin, chasing him around like a kid. It was as though Odin reminded him how to be in the moment again, how to feel joy without fear or pressure. Odin brought life back into our home. He didnt just lift Dads spirits he reconnected him with himself and with us. Their bond is something truly special. Odin is tuned in to Dads moods, always knowing when to nudge him into play or curl up quietly by his side. We thought Alzheimers would slowly steal Dad away from us. But Odin gave him back not in memory, but in presence, laughter, and connection. Hes not just a pet. Hes a clown, a companion, and a healer rolled into one very cheeky little soul. Were so lucky to have him
