What's up dog?
Ollie continues in 2025 to have an amazing impact in her local community and beyond. Ollie recently started to support the staff at Wollongong Hospital in ICU every second month and recently also supported Illawarra Local Health at the Orana Centre in Wollongong for the Community staff in Drug & Alcohol and she also picked up a new school Albion Park High which makes a total of 5 High Schools Well-being Depts which focuses on students mental health. Ollie continues to support Life Line Sutherland and Life Line South Coast every month. She continues to visit Macarthur Paediatric Practice in Campbelltown monthly and continues on within the Canine Court Companion Program associated with Guide Dogs and Victim Services which she does every Tuesday morning. She continues to support Wollongong Library as they approach HSC trials. She is always invited to RU OK days across schools in September supporting the mental health of students We are going up to a rural event called Hidden Treasures in Port Macquarie 4/7 which we received a nomination It was previously postponed due to Mid North Coast Flooding in May so was reconvened. We will be calling into Taree to give some pats and cuddles in Recovery Centres that are opened and to give out a few copies of Dogs with Jobs that were donated by Stylish Dogs for us to give to Taree Library Ollie continues to support Lake Illawarra Police Radio Operations and Barrack Heights Ambulance Call Centre each month Ollie has a lovely quiet presence that makes her so endearing to students and adults. She is not fazed by new environments or new people and is happy to snuggle up to students in Wellbeing Hubs on lounges or in Support Units at schools when their day hasnt gone so well, She knows in her own quiet unassuming way who could do with a bit of love. Ollies temperament has especially made her suitable to students who have in the past had a bad experience with a dog and they are scared. Ollie wins them over. Ollies impact in support learning is what staff love about her
