Our greyhound, Olivia, has had an incredible impact on everyone around her. At 8.5 years old, shes a gentle soul with a past thats shaped her into an empathetic, loving companion. Having been an ex-racer, rescued from a life of high intensity, Olivias quiet yet affectionate nature has deeply touched everyone who meets her. Her favourites are anything edible and her HooMum. Her presence brings a sense of calm wherever she goes. Neighbours often stop by to greet her during walks, mesmerized by how such a large dog can be so calm and gentle. For many, shes been a reminder that healing is possible, even for those whove experienced hardship. Olivia has a way of connecting with people, offering her soft head for a pat or a gentle nudge when someone is feeling down. Her ability to sense emotions is almost uncanny, and she has often been there when someone needed comfort without them saying a word.
