What's up dog?
Blink was born blind. She is also the best assistance dog a person could wish for. From the first day I knew she was special. We work together to build a trusting relationship - I guide her around obstacles she cant identify, and she lets me know when I am needing to take a break. Blink can pick up tiny changes in my voice, breathing, heart rate, and cortisol levels. Shes always a calm presence when I need it. She helps me through many medical appointments and treatments. She is my world.Blink used to be a therapy dog, bringing joy to many people in hospitals, aged care facilities and schools. Because she is blind, I had to teach her to face her head and ears forward for requested photos. She added the bonus toothy smile herself! Blink continues to bring joy to the many people she meets with her calm, loving nature and big smile.
