Barking from: Brisbane, QLD
What's up dog?
Captain came to us a foster about a year ago. When he arrived he was an uncontrollable dog with a lot of energy. We have spent so much time and effort training him to become a "house dog" so that he will eventually find a nice family, but it has been a roller-coaster ride. We learnt to be very patient and understanding, but it was really hard. It actually impacted our family very emotionally trying to mould him into a loveable domesticated boofhead. It made us a more understanding and forgiving family unit having to adapt our ways of doing things. Captain taught our family to be compassionate and cooperative with each other, and allowed us to contribute to animal welfare and the organisations behind these wonderful animals.
