P2P Australia Live Host Catherine Kennedy: We're joined now by P2P Education Team Leader Jade McNamara McNamara. Welcome to P2P Live, P2P Education Team Leader Jade McNamara. I know it's your first time going live with us on this particular broadcast. So, as I said at the top of the conversation, we're really delighted to be working in the education space, and P2P Education Team Leader Jade McNamara, great to have you leading that part of the business. So, we thought we might just take this opportunity for you to tell everybody a bit about P2P education, and I guess, who are you? What is it? Just give us a bit of an update around all of that.

P2P Education Team Leader Jade McNamara: Yeah, absolutely. So, just... we do provide sort of on-call and pre-booked shifts to Early Childhood Centres. And this has been simplified on an app or a simple SMS line now. The SMS line is monitored from 6:30 a.m. till 8:00 p.m. and then again on a Sunday evening. We do, as an educator myself over 15 years, we do understand sort of the pressures and the stress of that early morning sick call-out or late-night as well.

P2P Australia Live Host Catherine Kennedy: Yeah, I can imagine. Because I know that there's quotas and particular expectations that they just have to have in the centres. So, hopefully, it reassures our clients that someone's available early in the morning or even the night before as well.

P2P Education Team Leader Jade McNamara: Yeah.

P2P Australia Live Host Catherine Kennedy: And in terms of how it works. So, if I was a centre director, for example, and I was interested in using the services of P2P education, what would that kind of look like for me? What would I need to do?

P2P Education Team Leader Jade McNamara: You can just, sorry, call the details below and to the people2people website and follow the link to the education page. You can pop in your details there and either myself or my colleague Bronte will give you a call just to find out your requirements.

P2P Australia Live Host Catherine Kennedy: Yeah, okay, great. And I think you mentioned before but both yourself and Bronte, you come from that education background so you really do understand what it's like for people on the ground in the centres dealing with our most precious kids as well.

P2P Education Team Leader Jade McNamara: Indeed, yeah. It's heavily regulated as you would know, having children at services before. You do have to... there are ratio requirements and qualification blends from open to close. So, it is crucial that you get Educators out there quite quickly.

P2P Australia Live Host Catherine Kennedy: Yeah, great. And I know that, you know, for a centre director and you just need to solve your problem quickly, it's once they're set up with us, it's quite... it's as simple as going onto an app and putting a couple of details in or even sending that SMS which, as you said, is monitored really closely to cover those long hours.
