Due to growth a new opportunity is now available fro a driven and motivates warehouse assistant to join the team for an inital 3 month period with scope for permanency based on performance.
About the role
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the purpose of this position is to maintain a high level of customer service and effectively function as an integral part of the aftermarket and warehousing team. Your day to day will include:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently
- Receiving and dispatching stock
- Accurate picking and packing of stock
- Stocktake and quality control
- Dispatch cargo, car and container shipments
- Answering customer enquiries
- Data entry
- Maintaining registers
- Various other ad hoc tasks to support in smooth warehouse operation
To be considered for this role you will have:
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment
- Be a team player with a great attitude
- Have a current Forklift ticket
- Possess a strong attention to detail & high levels of accuracy
- Be available for an immediate start
- Monday to Friday 8am – 4pm
