Our client, Samsung Electronics Australia, is seeking a proactive and detail oriented Tender Specialist to join their team, on a 6 Month Contract. In this position, you will assess general expenses and be responsible for overseeing the tendering process, from researching potential contracts to submitting bids and managing the procurement tender process to select vendor partners.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Source new vendors and conduct company search as per company policy.
- Lead and own the Request for Information and Request for Bidding process working closely with internal stakeholders.
- Provide guidance to stakeholders on documentation such as, Statement of Work, Service Level Agreements, Master Service Agreement and execution process as per company internal process.
- Understand the contract obligations and work with the internal stakeholders to highlight the key milestones and obligations to the organisation.
- Work with internal stakeholders to carry out the strategies for approaching market.
- Carry out the commercial evaluation, risk analysis and lead negotiation with vendors.
- Draft Term Sheets and special conditions and review internally with related departments.
- Supplier contracts review and performance evaluation on a regular basis.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Well-developed time management, organisational, communication and problem solving skills.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel.
