The Role
Reporting to the Financial Reporting Manager, the responsibilities of the role will include,
- Ensure compliance with statutory accounting obligations and IFRS
- Preparation of financial statements, for multiple entities
- Preparation of monthly and quarterly general ledger account reconciliations
- Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
- Accounting for fixed assets, impairment and building valuation
- Assisting and preparation for Auditors
- Proactive involvement in continuous improvement and streamlining
- Business partnering and stakeholder engagement across departments
The successful applicant, will have/be,
- CA or CPA qualified with similar experience in a large/complex organisation
- Financial Services or Insurance Industry experience well regarded
- Strong understanding of accounting legislation and audit standard (Big 4 background well regarded)
- Focused on efficiency's and continuous improvement, Strong ERP systems experience
- Well developed communication and stakeholder management
