Sales Support Analyst

About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive and detail oriented Sales Support Analyst to join our team. This role is key in supporting our sales operations by ensuring accurate pricing, maintaining data in Salesforce, and assisting with customer and internal queries. You will work closely with Key Account Managers, Supply Chain, Marketing and other departments to ensure smooth day to day processes and contribute to strategic planning through analysis and reporting. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, confident in handling data, and comfortable working cross functionally in a fast paced environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide pricing and bid support to Key Account Managers or independently, ensuring timely and accurate responses, within one business day.
  • Manage pricing and discount data in Salesforce, ensuring updates are submitted in line with monthly or quarterly timelines.
  • Monitor customer purchasing trends and discount tiers, providing recommendations for pricing adjustments based on policy.
  • Respond to customer queries on stock availability, deliveries, returns and ETA updates, coordinating with internal teams to resolve issues promptly.
  • Support system-related issues, assisting customers with Salesforce and Space Portal queries.
  • Collaborate on demand planning and stock management, helping to reduce shortages and manage aged stock alongside Supply Chain and Account Managers.
  • Conduct competitor and market analysis, providing insights on pricing, product features and industry trends to support strategic decisions.
  • Assist with reporting, presentations and marketing activities, including preparing documentation, supporting events and coordinating with stakeholders across departments.
About You:
  • Qualification in Commerce, Finance, Analytics, Marketing or relevant field. 
  • 5+ years of experience working as an Analyst or in a related role.
  • Able to demonstrate the ability to multi-task, analyse, prioritise and deliver customer satisfaction/outcomes.
