Recruitment Advisor

Recruitment Advisor (VPS4)

Location: Melbourne CBD - Hybrid (2-3 days in office)
Contract: Full-time, fixed-term until 30/11/2026

Join a respected Victorian Government organisation supporting high-volume recruitment and secondment campaigns across the business.
Working as part of the Event Strategy and Delivery branch, this role partners with hiring managers to plan and coordinate recruitment activities, maintain compliance with VPS standards, and ensure timely onboarding of skilled personnel. You’ll also contribute to the continuous improvement of recruitment systems, processes, and candidate communications to support scalable and inclusive staffing practices.

Key responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and deliver VPS recruitment and secondment campaigns.
  • Partner with hiring managers and People Services on job design, screening, and interviews.
  • Support onboarding, workforce planning, and reporting.
  • Provide insights to inform workforce forecasting and diversity tracking.
  • Contribute to recruitment process improvements and system enhancements.
About you:
You’re experienced in recruitment advisor with experience partnering and supporting hiring manager, ideally within the Victorian Public Service, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
You bring strong communication skills, stakeholder management experience, and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
