We're on the lookout for a Receptionist / Accounting Support Officer who brings professionalism, energy, and exceptional organisational skills to support a busy team and valued clients. The successful candidate will have strong attention to detail and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, as part of the wider administrative team and working alongside one other receptionist. Being front facing, you will have excellent communication and presentation.
What You'll Be Doing
In this dynamic dual role, you'll be the face of the office and a crucial part of the support team. Your day-to-day will include:
Front of House – Reception
- Warmly welcoming clients and managing appointments
- Answering and directing calls with professionalism
- Coordinating meeting rooms, mail, couriers, and office supplies
- Managing email inboxes, scanning, filing, and data entry
- Supporting accountants with documentation, client onboarding, and compliance
- Lodging tax returns, preparing invoices, reconciling petty cash
- Assisting with ASIC and ATO correspondence
- Helping with marketing and other administrative tasks as needed
With previous experience working in the Financial sector or a corporate environment, you’ll be an energetic and organised team player who enjoys variety in your role and takes pride in your work. Ideally, you’ll have:
- A professional, positive, and approachable manner
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A sharp eye for detail and a process-driven mindset
- Great time management and the ability to multitask
- Experience in reception and/or accounting admin support is a bonus
- A passion for delivering excellent client service
- Experience working in an Accounting firm or similar
