About the Role
My client is seeking a highly experienced Quality & Compliance Manager to oversee their quality management system, ensuring operational excellence and regulatory compliance across their Sydney operations and Head Office. In this pivotal role, you’ll lead internal and external audit programs, manage risk-based assessments, and foster a culture where safety and quality are at the heart of everything they do.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development, implementation, and improvement of the quality management system in line with global and industry standards.
- Manage internal and external audits (ISO, ISAGO, regulatory), ensuring “audit-ready” operations at all times.
- Collaborate with safety and operational teams, and stakeholders to deliver effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor performance metrics, investigate non-conformities, and identify trends for improvement.
- Oversee compliance programs, document control, and management of change processes.
- Promote a proactive safety and quality culture across the organisation.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in safety, quality assurance, or compliance within the aviation industry.
- Lead Auditor qualification with strong Quality Management System audit experience.
- Expert knowledge of aviation regulations, standards, and quality assurance best practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Tertiary qualification in Aviation Management, Quality Management, or related discipline is desirable but not essential.
