Office Services Team Leader - National Law Firm

THE ROLE
Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role will see you lead three direct reports within the Office Services team. Your key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Overseeing mail room, print room, facilities, and equipment operations, ensuring all areas are functional, organised, and well maintained.
- Managing inventory, office services supplies, and vendor relationships, while ensuring budget compliance.
- Supervising and mentoring Office Services Clerks, including training, performance guidance, and quality assurance to deliver efficient and accurate services.
- Overseeing records management processes, including safe custody, VOI, and archiving, in line with firm policies and compliance standards.
- Coordinating new starter requirements such as inductions, desk set-up, and security passes, as well as supporting large events and overflow tasks in collaboration with Client Services.
- Promoting cyber security awareness across office services, embedding best practice and safeguarding firm and client information.
The successful applicant will have demonstrated experience in office services or mailroom operations within a professional services environment, with proven supervisory and team management capability. In addition, you will have:
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands, meet deadlines, and maintain high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and client-focused approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams) and familiarity with records or archiving processes.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and self-motivation, combined with a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and accountability.
