As part of this growth, they are seeking an experienced Legal Assistant for a hybrid Office Manager / Legal Assistant role, offering broader responsibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to shape the operations of a new office.

About the Role
This is a newly created growth role within the firm’s new Albany office. The scope of the role goes well beyond traditional support work. You will work closely with a solicitor on-site and take on a mix of Legal Assistant and Office Management responsibilities, making this an ideal opportunity for an experienced Legal Assistant looking for increased responsibility, ownership and career progression. You will be instrumental in shaping how the office operates day to day and will play a key role in the success of the new location.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing legal assistant support, including document preparation and file management
- Acting as the first point of contact for clients, both in person and via phone
- Managing the day-to-day operations of the Albany office
- Coordinating office administration, systems, and workflows
- Managing inboxes, correspondence, and general office requirements
- Supporting the solicitor to ensure the smooth running of the practice
