Legal Administrator

Our client, a well-established law firm in Perth CBD, is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Legal Administrator to join their Knowledge and Research team. This fully onsite, 12-month contract role involves supporting various practice areas by managing filings, registrations, and legal searches. Part-time hours may be considered for the right candidate.
What you’ll be doing:
- Preparing and lodging company and business documents with regulators such as ASIC and PPSR, using both third-party platforms and direct submissions
- Handling time-sensitive filings including ASIC share lodgements, ensuring correct forms are used
- Managing PPSR registrations, updates, discharges, and Secure Party Group setups
- Conducting business, association, and partnership searches through ASIC and other providers, including ordering document images when needed
- Assisting with lodgements at Land Registries and State Revenue Offices
- Filing, issuing, and searching court documents with courts and tribunals, and ordering transcripts as required
- Managing credit card payments to external agencies and assisting with disbursements such as weekly InfoTrack processing
- Performing general admin tasks including credit card reconciliations, managing search portal access, and updating staff records
- Working closely with the national FRASC team to ensure smooth support across offices
- Following workplace health and safety guidelines relevant to your role
- Good knowledge of court jurisdictions and regulatory bodies like ASIC, PPSR, Land Titles, and SRO
- Experience with electronic lodgements and legal or administrative processes
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines confidently
- Professionalism, discretion, and a strong client service focus
- Clear communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A proactive, supportive attitude
