IT Support Officer

We are partnering with a highly regarded national professional services organisation to recruit an experienced Information Technology Support Technician for their Perth office.

This is a hands-on, people-facing role where you will act as the first point of contact for technology support, while also providing more technical level one and level two assistance across the wider business. You will be part of a collaborative national support team, while remaining the go-to person for on-the-ground support in Perth.

The Opportunity
This role would suit someone who genuinely enjoys being visible, responsive, and trusted by the business. You will be supporting users both face-to-face and remotely, triaging issues through a helpdesk system, and ensuring staff have the tools and support they need to work efficiently.

You will work standard office hours and benefit from a hybrid working arrangement of three days in the office and two days working from home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Acting as the first point of contact for day-to-day technology support requests
  • Providing level one and level two support across hardware, software, and connectivity issues
  • Responding to ad hoc walk-up support requests, particularly for meeting rooms, audio visual setups, and urgent user issues
  • Supporting password resets, user access, onboarding, and account management
  • Delivering onsite support in Perth, with remote assistance to colleagues nationally as required
  • Managing and troubleshooting applications such as document management systems and Microsoft platforms
  • Supporting laptops, printers, mobile devices, and the standard operating environment
  • Logging, triaging, and escalating tickets through a helpdesk system
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and contributing to process improvements
About You You will be a service-oriented Information Technology professional who enjoys being the first port of call and thrives in a professional services environment.

Ideally, you will bring:
  • Previous experience in an Information Technology support or helpdesk role
  • Experience working in a professional services environment (legal or similar highly service-driven settings will be highly regarded)
  • Strong level one and level two desktop support capability
  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365 and document management systems
  • Solid understanding of desktop hardware, connectivity, and user support
  • Confidence supporting senior stakeholders with clear, professional communication
  • A proactive, collaborative approach and genuine enjoyment of user-facing support
Candidates with slightly less experience may still be considered if their background is highly relevant and aligned.

Benefits:
  • Hybrid working model
  • Supportive, national team environment
  • Strong focus on wellbeing, flexibility, and long-term career development
