Internal Control & Risk Analyst

About the Role:
This role involves working in collaboration with the business across different functions to collect evidence, review supporting documents, identifying gaps, and drive  process improvement to strengthen the SEAU risk management framework.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor key risk indicators and support with implementing corrective action plans to manage and mitigate risks
  • Review of key risk items and identify the root causes of abnormalities and mismanagement cases to improve processes
  • Analysis of transactions, internal reports and financial information for potential financial risks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional control owners to facilitate the control operation efficiency
  • On a monthly basis, collect and review evidence to validate the effectiveness of controls
  • Support in the preparation of regular and ad-hoc reports on internal testing as well as ICFR (K-SOX) reporting
  • Liaise with insurance brokers to assist with policy renewals and support business claims
  • To share industry updates on best practices and regulatory requirements to assit ensuring our control environment remains current and effective
About You:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Accounting & Finance, Business, Risk Management)
  • Minimum a year experience in audit, risk management, control implementation, or a related role.
