Due to fluctuations in workload, the firm is seeking a Float Assistant who is adaptable, proactive, and eager to learn and grow within a fast-paced legal environment
THE ROLE
As a Float Legal Assistant you duties and responsibilities will include:
- Provide administrative and clerical support across multiple departments as needed.
- Answer phones, manage emails, and greet visitors in a professional manner.
- Schedule meetings, appointments, and maintain calendars for various teams.
- Complex billing, invoicing and expense management
- Prepare and distribute correspondence, reports, and other documents.
- Maintain organized filing systems and perform accurate data entry.
- Operate office equipment and manage supply inventories.
- Adapt quickly to different departmental procedures and workflow.
- Handle sensitive information with discretion and ensure confidentiality.

ABOUT YOU
- Have minimum 2 years experience as a legal assistant or legal secretary
- Previous phone and diary management
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to draft correspondence and documents
- Happy to come into the office 5 days a week
- Previous reception or reception cover experience
- Experience using legal software / electronic file management systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
