Iconic brand, Australian Retailer require the assistance of an experienced Financial Accountant to join the finance team on a 6 month basis. The role will be to assist with EOFY, Audit and some process improvement and automation projects. You will work alongside a supportive CFO and dynamic CEO in a down to earth working environment.
The Role
Reporting to the CFO, the responsibilities of the role will include,
- Preparation and liaison with Auditors
- End of financial year processing and reconciliations
- Month end processing and financial reporting
- Assisting with ad hoc process improvement projects
- Systems automation and implementation
The successful applicant will have/be,
- CA or CPA qualified with strong understanding of accounting principles
- A well developed attention to detail and ability to work autonomously
- Experienced in process improvement and automation highly advantageous
- Strong ERP systems experience (ability to pick up new systems with ease)
- Flexible with professional and positive, team focused
- Join a dynamic and growing Retail franchise business
- Commence ASAP, 6 month assignment
