About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on Finance Business Partner to support multiple sites across Queensland. In this role, you’ll partner with operational teams to drive budgets, forecasts, and financial performance, translating complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with stakeholders to develop, manage, and monitor budgets and forecasts
- Perform month-end processing, including journals and balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare month-end commentary and participate in performance review meetings
- Deliver reporting and analysis to support operational and strategic decisions
- Translate financial data into clear, practical insights for non-financial managers
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across finance processes and systems
Committed to the role until July 2026, we’re looking for an experienced Accountant with a commercial mindset who can roll up their sleeves for end-of-month reporting while actively partnering with stakeholders to ensure financial performance stays on track. You will have:
- Experience in budgeting and forecasting, and engaging with stakeholders to develop strategies to meet performance goals
- Month-end processing experience, including journals and balance sheet reconciliations
- Ability to prepare month-end commentary and participate in performance meetings
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Advanced Excel skills
- Technology One and Power BI experience highly regarded
- A “team player” approach with strong communication skills and a sense of humour đ
Covering maternity leave through to July 2026, you’ll have the opportunity to apply your skills in a multi-site environment where your work directly impacts the business. Based in the Western Suburbs, the role is initially onsite for training (parking provided) with a hybrid work model thereafter.
