Commercial Finance Analyst

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated finance professional to join a dynamic business with ambitious growth plans across the Asia-Pacific region. As a Commercial Finance Analyst, you will play a critical role in shaping performance outcomes by delivering actionable insights across the full P&L, with a strong focus on customer and brand performance to drive profitability and growth.

In this high-impact role, you’ll work closely with senior leaders and teams across the organisation, contributing to informed decision-making and helping to steer commercial success.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Analyse regional performance against targets, focusing on customer profitability, SKU-level margins, and trade spend.
  • Conduct revenue, pricing, and margin analysis across products, channels, and customers.
  • Identify opportunities to improve growth and profitability across APAC markets.
Budgeting & Forecasting
  • Lead the rolling sales forecast process in collaboration with Sales and Production teams.
  • Support financial projections aligned with market trends and operational plans.
  • Coordinate annual budgeting and deliver timely commercial finance reports.
Business Intelligence
  • Develop and maintain dashboards using Power BI, ERP systems, and data warehouses.
  • Analyse large datasets from manufacturing, market sales, and consumer research.
  • Automate reporting processes for trade and promotional spend tracking.
Business Partnering
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to deliver financial insights.
  • Evaluate financial impacts of promotions and customer investments.
  • Provide strategic support to optimise EBITDA and drive commercial outcomes.
Stakeholder Management
  • Communicate financial insights effectively to senior leaders and regional stakeholders.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships to support decision-making and performance transparency.
About You
  • Degree qualified in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in FP&A or commercial finance, ideally within a multinational and/or APAC environment.
  • Strong skills in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency (Power Query, Power Automate) and familiarity with BI tools.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex financial data for different audiences.
  • Strong analytical mindset with proven problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to influence and build strong relationships.
  • Highly organised with strong time management and attention to detail.
