Events / Office Administrator

people2people are currently recruiting a Events / Office Administrator to join our client in Canberra. This role works collaboratively with the Regional Manager to coordinate and set up online and in person events. You will liaise with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure members feel connected, supported and valued. This is an initial 3 month opportunity, with potential for extension or permanency.
 
The Role:

  • Organising and managing events, including logistics, communications, vendor coordination, and on-site set-up
  • Creating marketing materials and campaigns in collaboration with internal teams
  • Handling communications via social media and other platforms to amplify engagement
  • Providing outstanding customer service to members via phone and email
  • Supporting office operations, including facilities coordination and general adhoc duties
  • Coordinating post-event evaluations for member feedback and ratings
 
About You:
  • Experience in event coordination/management or venue management is essential
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects at once
  • Experience with social media and digital communications tools is highly regarded
