Customer Service Specialist - multiple temporary roles


  • 3 month inbound Customer Service
  • Supportive team and training provided
  • CBD based - $35 per hour plus super

The Company
Join this leading Medical Insurance company, as a Customer Service Consultant to help manage the inbound calls from members. Being the first point of contact for the customers is a crucial role within the business and detailed training is provided to ensure you can be the best at what you do.


The Role:
  • Be the key person in connecting with members and handling calls through to resolution
  • Manage the inbound call volume, keeping the member in mind at all times
  • Processing members' insurance estimates and amendments
  • Handle travel insurance queries
  • Taking over the phone payments and updating information on the system
  • Be actively engaged with members to provide them with accurate and timely information on products/services
  • Have availability to work with a rotating roster between the hours 8am - 7pm Monday - Friday, but do standard 38 hour week

Your Skills and Expertise:
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Proven experience in Customer centric roles with examples of where you've been able to provide exceptional customer service to resolution
  • Worked with a product or service that has complexity or within a heavily regulated sector to ensure you have a high level of accuracy in all work
  • Ability to work well with new system and apply this new knowledge to a role
  • Proven reliability and team work focused
