Credit Officer

Our client is a high profile, highly successful multinational with a large presence in Australia and head office overseas.  An employer of choice, they now have a rare opportunity for an experienced Credit Officer to join their team on a full time and permanent basis.
 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and reconcile debtor ledgers and customer accounts, including cash sales
  • Oversee credit releases exceeding limits in line with company policy
  • Investigate account disputes and maintain an up-to-date dispute register
  • Maintain cash flow forecasts related to collections
  • Prepare weekly and month-end reports, including ATB and customer statements
  • Conduct end-to-end debt collection, including escalation to legal proceedings
  • Review and recommend credit limits for existing customers using external credit agencies
  • Support new credit applications and submit to external agencies for assessment
  • Other ad hoc projects and tasks within the role scope.
About you:
To be successful for the role, you must demonstrate the following:
  • Demonstrated experience in the position accountabilities
  • Extensive experience in Credit Management and Accounts Receivable
  • Strong attention to detail, organisation, and time management 
  • Computer literate and strong with systems
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills
  • A positive, team-focused and “can-do attitude.
