Corporate Tax Director/Partner

A long-standing professional services firm in the South East is seeking an experienced Corporate Tax Director to join its leadership team. This is a senior advisory role with significant scope to shape the corporate tax offering and support a diverse portfolio of clients across the region.

The Role

You will take responsibility for delivering high-level corporate tax advice to a broad range of clients, including privately owned companies, entrepreneurial businesses and growing groups. Key areas of work include reorganisations, group structuring, shareholder planning, share schemes and transactional tax matters. The role offers genuine influence within the firm’s tax strategy and provides a clear route for senior progression.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and deliver complex corporate tax advisory engagements
  • Act as a senior contact for clients, providing clear and commercially focused tax guidance
  • Review technical work and support the development of the wider tax team
  • Build strong internal and external relationships to enhance the firm’s tax capability
  • Contribute to client development activities and identify opportunities for additional advisory work
About You
  • Significant post-qualification experience in corporate tax within a recognised accountancy or advisory practice
  • Strong background in advisory work such as reorganisations, share schemes, shareholder planning or similar projects
  • Confident leading teams, managing work quality and supporting more junior colleagues
  • CTA qualified (or equivalent senior-level expertise)
  • Commercially minded with the ability to develop long-term client relationships
