The Role:
- Draft, review, and assist with the negotiation of construction contracts, subcontracts, consultancy agreements, and procurement documents under attorney supervision
- Track key contract milestones such as performance dates, extensions, variations, and termination clauses
- Maintain detailed case files and ensure timely submission of documents to courts or tribunals
- Manage lawyers' emails and diaries, ensuring effective scheduling and time management
- Liaise with contractors, consultants, quantity surveyors, and project managers to collect and verify project documentation
- Conduct legal research on construction law issues, including contract interpretation, statutory requirements, and regulatory updates
- Assist with the preparation and processing of client invoices in accordance with firm policies, billing guidelines and client trust accounts

About You:
- Minimum 2 years experience as a paralegal (ideally career paralegal or a student who can work full time with minimum 2 years left of their law degree)
- Minimum 1 year experience in ideally construction law or commercial disputes or property
- Previous exposure to Trust Accounting
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks
- Positive and proactive attitude, embracing challenges with enthusiasm
- Adaptable and solution-oriented, thriving in dynamic and fast-paced environments
