Bookkeeper / Office Accountant | CBD Location with Parking | Long-Term Role

Are you a skilled Bookkeeper or Company Accountant who enjoys working autonomously and taking ownership of finance operations end-to-end? This is an exciting opportunity to join a small, stable business in the Sydney CBD where your work will truly make a difference.
We're partnering with a values-driven organisation in the property and infrastructure space to find a dependable, detail-oriented professional to step into this broad, long-term finance and admin role.

The Role You’ll be the go-to person for day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping operations, working closely with the senior finance lead and management. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Full-function bookkeeping(accounts payable, general ledger, reconciliations, journals)
  • Producing internal reports and assisting with cash flow management
  • Assisting with year-end and external accountant coordination
  • Providing general office administration support (basic documentation, records, supplier coordination)
  • Helping streamline processes and improve efficiency where possible
About You This role is suited to someone who:
  • Has 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping or small business accounting
  • Is confident using MYOB (or similar) and has strong Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, IF formulas, etc.)
  • Can work independently and proactively – you’re not afraid to think for yourself
  • Brings a positive, can-do attitude and enjoys being part of a tight-knit team
  • Is looking for a long-term role, not a stepping stone
Bonus points if you’ve worked in a small business environment or have experience with Xero or office admin. Easy public transport access and free parking provided
