We are working with a leading international law firm that is seeking to hire a mid-level Associate
for its Finance & Financial Regulation team
in London. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded practice with a strong reputation across diverse finance transactions, including renewable energy financing.
The Opportunity You’ll be part of a small, collaborative team where you’ll enjoy significant responsibility and direct client contact
from day one. The role offers the chance to build your career in a forward-thinking environment, with exposure to complex cross-border work and innovative financing structures.
The Work You will advise financial institutions (banks, funds, alternative lenders, and development banks) as well as borrowers on a broad range of transactions, including:
- Bilateral and syndicated lending
- Acquisition and real estate finance
- Project finance, particularly renewable energy projects
- Venture debt and asset finance
- Cross-border financings in emerging markets (North Africa, CEE/SEE)
Essential:
- Solid post-qualification experience (PQE) in banking/finance from a leading firm
- Track record of handling finance transactions with confidence and accuracy
- Ability to manage aspects of complex matters and maintain strong client relationships
- Flexibility to work across a wide range of financing structures
- Strong academics and technical excellence
- Experience supervising junior lawyers or trainees
- Interest in renewables, technology, or other specialist sectors
- Business development flair and willingness to contribute to know-how initiatives
