Accounts and Administration Officer - CBD

Global Mining Company, based in Brisbane's CBD require the assistance of an experienced Accounts and Administration Officer.  The role is predominantly raising  Purchase Orders, Employee reimbursements, and following up on approvals.  The role will require, well developed communication and interpersonal skills and you will be dealing with multiple key internal stakeholders. The role will be a mix of Accounts and Administrative tasks, supporting the Finance team.

The Role 
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the responsibilities of the role will include, 

  • Managing Credit card reimbursements through ExpenseMe 
  • Follow up with internal stakeholders for approvals of reimbursements 
  • Creation of Purchase Orders through SAP (verifying Supplier details) 
  • Process invoices to appropriate cost centres 
  • Car service supplier invoice processing 
  • Reconciling Statements and accounts 
  • Ad hoc administration duties to support accounts team 

About You 
  • The successful applicant will have/be, 
  • Experienced in Accounts Payable processing 
  • Experienced in Administration 
  • SAP and ExpenseMe systems highly regarded 
  • Mining industry experience highly regarded 
  • A strong attention to detail and well developed communication skills 
  • A positive and professional, team player
  • Well developed customer service skills
