people2people is proud to partner with a respected community-focused, not-for-profit organisation currently seeking a dedicated and customer-centric Reservations & Accommodation Coordinator. This role is integral to delivering exceptional support services and ensuring a seamless experience for their valued guests.
about the role
Based in Rockhampton, this busy and varied role will see you working 8:30am – 5pm Monday to Friday responsible for:
- Managing Reception
- Working with incoming reservations and bookings
- Meeting & greeting guests and coordinating all their transport requirements to and from appointments
- Assisting guests with requests
- Coordinating maintenance and service requests
- Processing accommodation invoices, administrative requisitions, petty cash and incoming donations
- Ensuring all consumables are stocked
- Assisting with administration support
- Handling any incoming enquiries
- Liaising with housekeeping team
- Previous Reception, Reservations, Guest Services or Administration experience
- Hospitality experience highly advantageous
- Computer literacy – MS Office Suite
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to empathise and manage communications in a sensitive manner
- Ability to work autonomously with strong time management and coordination skills
- Understanding of basic accounting
