What Impact Developing Graduates Has Had for P2P

Christina Sclavos • August 26, 2018

At people2people we have been creating recruiters since we opened our doors in 2005. We hire, train, coach and lead recruitment consultants not only at a graduate level but at all levels to ensure we continue to develop and be better.

A few facts and stats I’d like to share about p2p:

  • We kick started our operations 13 years’ ago in 2005.
  • More than 35% of our team has been with us for more than five years
  • Less than 5 staff have left p2p to find out if the grass is greener

What do all of these numbers mean? Well, let’s face it: a career in the world of recruitment rarely reads stability, long-term or loyalty. Although you do not need to be a rocket scientist to succeed, you MUST show resilience, emotional strength and maturity and of course patience. (No wonder a lot of rec2recs threw in the towel – the juggling act became too hard!). These traits coupled with a solid training regime will build foundations for a successful career.

At p2p, with hundreds of years of combined industry knowledge and experience, we are proud of our life timers and our staff tenure. The training and coaching programs we provide our newbies, combined with the experience and wisdom that can be leveraged by our most experienced recruitment consultants in our business is one of our differentiators. We BUILD our OWN.

What does training look like for a graduate at p2p?

  • Two-week induction program, with one on one coaching sessions
  • Weekly team training sessions
  • Access to an online eLearning platform
  • Ongoing 121 sessions with our Group GM and Team Leaders

As a graduate of 2011, my career at people2people has continued to evolve and develop. people2people has given me the skills and knowledge to stand out from the rest, in this competitive and dense market space. Our long-standing client and candidate relationships and repeat business partnerships is a true reflection of our competitive edge and ability to continue delivering.

As the Sydney Manager of people2people, it is my aim to develop and grow the next generation of consultants by providing a supportive platform on which our consultants can build their pillars towards success. Don’t hesitate, call me to find out more about what a career with p2p can look like for you.
