The Opportunity
Due to business growth, my client is seeking an experienced Senior Fire Technician
for a well-established fire protection contractor. This is a hands-on role with leadership responsibilities, covering the installation, servicing and maintenance of special hazard fire systems
across diverse client sites.
Key Duties
- Service, maintain and install fire systems (gaseous, kitchen, vehicle, industrial, extinguishers & blankets).
- Carry out system upgrades and repairs.
- Manage tools, equipment and stock requirements.
- Ensure compliance with Australian Standards & WHS.
- Complete reporting and documentation in line with industry requirements.
- Proven experience in fire protection / special hazard systems.
- Trade or construction background preferred.
- Strong organisation and time management skills.
- Professional presentation and strong client service skills.
- Computer literacy (Word, Excel, tablets).
- Current driver’s licence and White Card essential.
- Ability to obtain ASIC / MSIC cards (if not already held).
- Fully maintained vehicle, phone, tablet & tools.
- Ongoing training & certifications provided.
