Retail Sales Assistant

Are you passionate about creating exceptional customer experiences and helping people find their perfect sleep solution? A Luxury retail brand is seeking a motivated Retail Sales Consultant to join their team at David Jones Marion. This Casual role offers regular hours across Thursday to Monday, with additional shifts possible during peak sales periods.
 
About the Role
The Retail Sales Consultant will act as the face of the store, creating memorable customer experiences that reflect the premium quality of the brand. The successful candidate is encouraged to embody the company’s core values, whilst assisting in delivering a seamless shopping experience.
All of this, alongside supporting store presentation, stock management, and promoting current offers to drive sales within the store.

Key Selection Criteria
The ideal candidate will have:
  • A love for retail and a genuine passion for helping customers
  • Experience meeting sales targets and KPIs in a customer-focused environment
  • Confidence using POS systems & various technologies
  • Strong communication and selling skills, with the capability to build strong rapport
  • A proactive, can-do attitude and the ability to work independently
  • Preferred previous retail, sleep or bedding solutions sales experience
  • A customer-focused approach with a passion for delivering results
  • Ability to work independently in a competitive environment
  • Self-motivation and strong organisational skills
  • Willingness to travel between locations if required
  • Interest in creative problem-solving and thinking outside the box
  • (Desirable) Bedding or sleep solution sales experience
