- Commercial Litigation – Legal Assistant
- CBD Location – 2 days WFH
- Salary up to $95k package
This Melbourne law firm are highly regarded for their flexible and personable approach to providing high quality legal advice. The firm provide commercially astute advice across a range of practice areas out of their CBD offices. Their longstanding client base includes SME’s, listed business, and high net worth individuals.
THE ROLE
The successful candidate will work closely with the Partner of a high performing commercial litigation team, whilst also supporting two other lawyers.
- General administrative duties including document preparation, photocopying, and drafting.
- Monthly billing.
- Knowledge of court rulings up to Supreme Court.
- Preparation of Briefs to Counsel.
- File management of electronic files.
To be considered for the role, you will be a professional and motivated individual with practical experience in a Legal Assistant or support role within a law firm;
The firm are not considering students or those without unrestricted working rights.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Legal Assistant, experience within Litigation highly desirable.
- High level of attention to detail with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks while maintaining quality.
- Be able to work 5 days per week.
