Learning & Development Manager

About the role:
The Learning & Development Manager will lead the delivery of high-impact training programs aimed at equipping retail sales teams with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to effectively sell our consumer electronics range. You will lead a team of trainers and specialists responsible for educating frontline staff at major retail partners, ensuring our brand stands out and converts at the point of sale. This is a hands-on, strategic role focused on building retail advocacy and driving sales through education and engagement.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead a national team of trainers and specialists delivering in-store, virtual, and event-based training to retail sales teams
  • Develop and execute a national retail training strategy to improve sales staff understanding of our product features, benefits, and value propositions
  • Create and deliver engaging product training programs that help retail partners confidently sell our range
  • Drive consistency in training content, delivery quality, and brand messaging across all retail partners and locations
  • Partner with sales and product teams to ensure training supports product launches, promotions, and business priorities
  • Work closely with retail partner head offices to coordinate large-scale training events, online modules, and seasonal campaigns
  • Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness using a mix of KPIs, feedback, and sell-through performance
  • Oversee the development of sales toolkits, demo guides, training videos, and e-learning content
About YOU:
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in training, capability development, or field education roles, with 3+ years managing training teams
  • Proven success developing and delivering sales-focused training in retail or consumer electronics channels
