ELECTION OFFICERS
Positions Available for a Large-Scale Project.
We are currently recruiting for 600+ Election Officer positions to support a large-scale electoral project based in Port Melbourne.
The Organisation
Our client is a leading organisation responsible for delivering critical electoral services and supporting the democratic process. They are committed to providing accessible, high-quality services with integrity, innovation, and professionalism.
The Role
We are seeking expressions of interest from individuals who are available to work on a temporary basis from 2nd November through to mid-December at our Port Melbourne site. A range of AM and PM shifts are available, with AM shifts starting from as early as 5:00am and PM shifts commencing from 2:00pm. Please note that start times may vary depending on operational requirements.
- Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Sorting and processing election materials
- Packing, setting up and restocking materials
- Guiding staff and visitors
- Moving materials between staging, processing and secure areas
- Tracking the location of sensitive materials
- Data entry using various databases, spreadsheets and Microsoft Office applications
- Responding to phone and email enquiries and escalating complex issues when required
- General administrative duties
Eligibility Requirements
- To be considered for these positions, you must: Be an Australian Citizen or hold full working rights in Australia
- Be politically neutral, with no affiliation to political parties, nominated candidates or third-party campaigners
