Location: Seven Hills, NSW Pay Rate: $50 per hour + super Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm Temp: ASAP commencement through to the end of January Work Arrangement: Fully onsite
About the Opportunity
Our client is a national organisation operating across a diverse range of markets, including steel fabrication and mining environments. With significant growth and a strong pipeline of upcoming recruitment activity, they are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their team and support a busy in-house recruitment function.
Working closely with the existing Talent Acquisition team, you will play a key role in supporting a high volume of recruitment nationally, spanning both white- and blue-collar positions.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced recruiter or TA professional who enjoys a fast-paced environment, engaging with candidates and managing multiple vacancies simultaneously.
About the Role
You will support the recruitment process from initial briefing through to candidate presentation and interview coordination, including:
- Taking detailed role briefings and understanding hiring requirements
- Sourcing candidates through SEEK and other relevant channels
- Screening and interviewing candidates
- Assessing candidate suitability and providing recommendations
- Coordinating interviews with hiring managers
- Conducting reference checks
- Maintaining accurate candidate notes and recruitment records
- Managing multiple vacancies across different locations and markets
- Working closely with the existing in-house recruiter and hiring managers
- Supporting both white- and blue-collar recruitment nationally
About You
We are looking for an experienced recruitment or talent acquisition professional who can hit the ground running and confidently manage a busy recruitment workload.
- Previous experience in recruitment, talent acquisition or agency recruitment
- Strong candidate screening and interviewing skills
- The ability to quickly understand different role requirements
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accurate note-taking abilities
- The ability to assess candidate suitability and read people effectively
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple vacancies
- Confidence recruiting across both white- and blue-collar markets
- Experience using SEEK or similar recruitment platforms
