Our client, Samsung Electronics, is looking for a State Service Manager to join their Service Operations team. This is a high impact role responsible for overseeing service centre performance, driving KPI outcomes and leading a small but critical support team. If you are hands-on, solutions-focused and not afraid of a bit of pressure, this could be a great move.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of 5 to 6 metro service centres, managing the majority of repair volume
  • Monitor and drive service KPIs, ensuring jobs are completed efficiently and to standard
  • Track incoming service jobs and ensure they are allocated and actioned correctly
  • Lead and manage a team of 3 to 4 field support staff
  • Ensure service tickets and updates are accurately maintained in internal systems
  • Prepare and present weekly and monthly performance reports
  • Partner with the sales team and retail network to resolve service-related issues and escalations
  • Conduct regular site visits across metro and regional locations, including some overnight travel
  • Identify performance gaps and drive continuous improvement across service centres
  • Support training and development across service partners and internal teams
About You
  • Experience in service operations, aftersales, or field service environments
  • Strong leadership capability with the ability to manage, motivate and hold a team accountable
  • KPI driven, with experience working in high-volume environments
  • Highly organised with strong planning and prioritisation skills
  • Proactive problem solver who takes ownership and works to fix issues
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across internal teams and external partners
  • Reliable, committed and looking for a long term opportunity
  • Comfortable working five days in the office (CBD) and travelling between sites
