Senior FP&A Analyst (3-Month Temp)

A leading ASX-listed organisation is seeking an experienced Senior FP&A Analyst to join the team on a 3-month temporary assignment to support the year-end close, budgeting cycle and key strategic reporting deliverables.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded FP&A professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and can quickly add value through strong financial analysis, reporting, modelling and presentation capabilities.
Working closely with senior finance leaders, you will play a key role in delivering financial insights, executive reporting and decision support across the business during a critical reporting period.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support the year-end close and budgeting process across the business
  • Prepare and deliver insightful management reporting and financial analysis
  • Perform ad hoc FP&A analysis to support key business decisions
  • Validate, enhance and maintain financial models
  • Partner with stakeholders across finance and operational teams to provide commercial insights
  • Assist with forecasting, budgeting and planning activities
  • Develop executive-level PowerPoint presentations for the board, senior leadership and investor reporting requirements
  • Create impactful charts, dashboards and visualisations to communicate financial performance and key business trends
  • Support strategic projects, business cases and other commercial initiatives as required
About You
To be successful in this role, you will be a hands-on FP&A professional who can confidently work with large data sets, build meaningful insights and communicate findings effectively to senior stakeholders.
You will demonstrate:
  • Strong FP&A, management reporting or commercial finance experience
  • Advanced Excel skills, including financial modelling, scenario analysis and data manipulation
  • Advanced PowerPoint skills with the ability to produce executive-quality presentations and visual reporting
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and business partnering capability
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a deadline-driven environment
