Senior Finance Officer | St Leonards | Temp-to-Perm Opportunity
Join a respected not-for-profit aged care provider and play a key role in supporting billing, receivables, reconciliations and customer account enquiries within a collaborative finance team. This is a 3-month temporary assignment with the view to permanent employment.
The Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate billing, receipting, reconciliations and account management activities. You will also assist with customer account enquiries, debt collection support and month-end reporting.
- Processing billing, invoicing, statements, reimbursements and refunds
- Managing receipting, reconciliations, journals and payment processing
- Supporting account enquiries and debt collection activities
- Assisting with funding reconciliations and month-end reporting
- Investigating billing variances and providing data analysis to identify trends and issues
About You
You will bring:
- 3+ years' experience in Accounts Receivable, Billing, Collections or a similar finance role
- Strong Excel and general systems skills with excellent attention to detail
- Demonstrated experience managing accounts receivable and collections with a customer-centric and empathetic approach, balancing debt recovery objectives with professionalism, sensitivity and strong stakeholder relationships
- Experience within aged care, healthcare or NFP environments will be highly regarded
