A respected building solutions provider near Fairfield is offering an exciting opportunity to join as an experienced Credit Controller. This is initially a 6-month contract with the potential to convert to a permanent role based on performance.
Whether you’re building on your solid credit experience or are a seasoned professional, this role requires the confidence and presence to manage complex accounts effectively.
In this role, while reporting to the Credit Manager, you will be responsible for high-volume customer portfolios, overseeing collections, performing account reconciliations, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a portfolio of customer accounts and reviewing credit documentation
- Following up on overdue payments - ensuring invoices are collected on time
- Allocating and receipting accounts receivable transactions accurately
- Investigating and resolving payment discrepancies, reconciling accounts, and correcting posting errors
- Monitoring credit alerts and promptly escalating critical matters to management
- Contributing to improving credit policies, procedures, and AR processes
