About the role
In this leadership position, you will oversee Crown entity monitoring and board appointments, addressing the increased workload and enhancing governance frameworks. Your expertise will directly influence the effectiveness and integrity of public sector operations.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the monitoring of Crown entities to ensure compliance with statutory obligations
- Facilitate board appointments, ensuring the selection of qualified candidates
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement governance policies
- Provide strategic advice to senior management on governance issues
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the monitoring framework.
Skills & experience
- Proven experience in Crown entity monitoring and board appointments
- Strong capability in stakeholder engagement and relationship management
- Demonstrated ability to develop governance policies and frameworks
- Experience in providing strategic advice at a senior level
- Familiarity with public sector governance and accountability requirements.
