The Role
Associate or Senior Associate position focused on front-end construction work. The role involves drafting and negotiating construction contracts, advising on risk allocation and supporting project structuring from inception through delivery. The Partner is frequently out of the office, so the role requires autonomy. You will be expected to run matters, manage stakeholders and progress work without constant supervision. There is cross office collaboration with team members in Queensland, but day to day ownership sits locally. You will build direct client relationships and take responsibility for output quality, turnaround times and commercial practicality of advice.
The Candidate
4+ years PAE in construction with a clear front-end focus. Strong drafting capability across construction contracts is essential. You can manage stakeholders, prioritise competing demands and maintain standards without oversight. Candidates open to relocating from Queensland are viable. Sydney based lawyers are preferred.
