We’re looking for a friendly, hands on Customer Service & Product Support Assistant to join a retail showroom environment based in Camberwell.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with customers, explaining and selling physical products, and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves when needed. You’ll be the face of the showroom, helping customers understand products, guiding them through services, and occasionally assisting with light warehouse and dispatch tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high‑quality, face‑to‑face customer service in a showroom setting
- Demonstrate and sell products, helping customers find the right solution
- Assist customers with basic product servicing and support
- Carry out hands‑on work with products where required (training provided)
- Process customer orders and prepare items for dispatch
- Assist with light warehouse duties, including packing and posting orders
- Occasionally prepare and send orders to head office interstate
- Maintain a clean, organised and welcoming showroom environment
What We’re Looking For
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Confidence talking to customers and explaining products clearly
- A practical, hands‑on attitude — comfortable working with physical products
- Retail or sales experience (preferred but not essential)
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Comfortable with basic admin and order processing
- Willingness to assist with occasional warehouse and dispatch tasks
