We are partnering with Medic Alert, a trusted medical devices organisation supporting more than 32,000 members across Australia. Medic Alert plays a vital role in helping individuals with medical conditions feel safe, supported, and confident in their everyday lives.
Medic Alert is seeking a caring and reliable Reactivation Officer to join their team in Hindmarsh. This role focuses on reconnecting with members who have paused or not continued their membership and supporting them to re engage with an essential service. This is a highly structured and repetitive position, ideal for someone who enjoys routine, consistency, and working within clear, well defined processes.
The Role
As a Reactivation Officer, you will be responsible for making high volume outbound calls and following a consistent call framework. You will have similar conversations throughout the day, supporting members with empathy and professionalism. Success in this role comes from patience, attention to detail, and the ability to remain focused and positive in a process driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Completing high volume outbound reactivation calls to Medic Alert members
  • Following a consistent and structured call process
  • Engaging in repetitive, process led conversations to encourage membership continuation or reinstatement
  • Providing compassionate support, including discussing payment options and arranging payment plans
  • Working towards daily targets (approximately 60 calls per day and 5+ reactivations or payment arrangements)
  • Sending routine follow up emails and SMS communications
  • Accurately recording call outcomes in Salesforce, Excel, and internal systems
  • Participating in training to ensure confidence in Medic Alert’s systems and procedures
About You
  • Calm, empathetic communication style and comfort having similar conversations repeatedly
  • Able to remain patient, engaged, and positive in a highly structured and repetitive role
  • Confident speaking with individuals who may have complex health or personal circumstances
  • Previous experience in customer service, outbound calling, support work, or membership retention
  • Strong computer skills, including Excel, with the ability to learn new systems
  • Available to work up to 5 days per week, with flexibility around hours
  • Able to commit to consistent hours for the duration of the 6 month assignment
  • Current Police Check and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, or willingness to obtain
