A prestigious and well-established property asset management organisation is seeking an experienced Property or Financial Accountant to join their team on a temporary basis, starting ASAP
Reporting to a supportive, approachable, and calm Manager, you will play an important role within a collaborative and high-performing finance team, providing accounting support across a diverse portfolio of property assets. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable brand known for its strong culture and modern CBD offices. The organisation promotes a genuine work-life balance, operating a flexible hybrid model with approximately half the week in the office and half working from home. Employees are trusted to manage their work while being supported within an inclusive and respectful environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Preparing monthly accounts for a portfolio of assets
- Managing month-end processes including
journals, accruals, and prepayments
- Variance analysis and financial reporting
- Supporting budgeting and forecasting
About you:
- Experience as a Property Accountant or Financial Accountant
- Exposure to MRI, Yardi, or similar property systems is highly regarded
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment
- Available to start immediately
