About the role
The Product Technician - VD is responsible for the refurbishment and repair of Visual Display and Audio products, including TVs, monitors, and soundbars. This role involves managing the end-to-end repair process, including parts ordering, diagnosis, repair, testing, packing, and parts/stock management. The technician will also operate the cleanroom for TV panel refurbishment and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Key responsibilities
- Test, diagnose, and troubleshoot TV and monitor panels
- Inspect and repair panels using the correct components and methods
- Conduct ageing tests and monitor repair quality
- Manage inventory accuracy and conduct stocktakes
- Prepare and submit daily repair reports to management
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to support operations.
Skills & experience
- Proven experience in refurbishing and repairing Visual Display products, specifically TVs and monitors
- Strong technical understanding and hands-on repair experience in consumer electronics
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
